In response to Taran Adarsh, The Kerala Story earned Rs 8.03 crores on its debut day. Following the wonderful run on day 1, the film bagged Rs 11. 22 crores on day 2. On day 3, the film earned twice its day 1 assortment and stood firmly at Rs 16 crores on the home field workplace.

Given the humongous assortment of The Kerela Story, the overall assortment now stands at Rs 35.25 crores in India on a reported funds of Rs 40 crores.

The movie launch clashed with Hollywood biggie Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Regardless of the Marvel movie’s craze, The Kerala Story assortment remained untarnished. The movie was declared tax-free within the state of Madhya Pradesh. Whereas the theatres in Tamil Nadu stopped the screening of the film.
